KARL TOWNSEND

Karl Townsend serves as Chief Country Officer, Group Capital Markets Unit, Jamaica, at JMMB Group Limited, bringing over 30 years of experience in banking, corporate finance, and investment banking/capital markets across Jamaica and international markets.

He holds a BSc. in Economics and Management from UWI, Mona, and an MBA in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. He has completed executive development programmes in Private Equity at Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania and Valuation at Stern Business School, New York University.

Karl is a Director of Gwest Corporation Limited and Image Plus Consultants Limited, both listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
A proud Past President of the St. Jago Past Students’ Association, Karl is the father of two sons.
