At West Indies Petroleum Terminal Limited, we continuously re-invent our operations to meet the changing market needs while growing our customer base, product offerings, facilities, and launching the logistics business.

The terminal has supported the growing needs of Jamaica and the Caribbean. We have the capacity, experience and expertise in handling and storing oil.

We have about 22 acres of land, that is the home to our head office, and our terminal operations of approximately 640,000 barrels of fuel storage. Our terminal is a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) licensed under the Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority (JSEZA). The terminal occupies about 6 acres of the total land size of 22 acres, with the remaining area planned and available for development of new projects by the Company.

Independent Petroleum Retailers

WIP Energy is the market leader with respect to sale of fuel to Independent Gas Retailers (non-multinationals) led by the leading brands in Jamaica. Our market share in this category is more than 80%. This market continues to thrive due to its generally lower pump prices vs. major multinational corporations.

Other Large and Medium Enterprises

With over 300 WIP branded tanks in Jamaica ranging from 1,000 gallons to 10,000 gallons situated at select clients, WIP Energy continues to be a leading provider of diesel and gasoline used to power fleet and other machinery used at several of Jamaica’s leading enterprises.

Bauxite and Power Generation

We provide both ADO and HFO fuel to large bauxite and other entities needing the fuel for significant power generating capabilities in their operations where supply is generally consistent.

THRIFTY Gas

Represents WIP Energy’s value brand, providing the best pump prices in the communities that it operates in. There are currently 8 locations island wide with WIP Energy operating 1 entity in St. James under a Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) model and the other 13 under a Dealer Owned Dealer Operated (DODO) Model.
